Temple of Leah: Love immortalized

When a man love a woman,
He’ll spend his very last dime
Tryin’ to hold on to what he needs.- Percy Sledge, When a Man Loves a Woman

Standing proud, this brave man can stood up for the one he loves

So as the song goes by Percy Sledge, perhaps that line hits the Cebuano business tycoon Teodorico Soriano Adarna that compelled him to launch this grandiose and ambitious Grecian themed edifice. Dedicated to his late better half Leah Villa Albino-Adarna hence the namesake of this attraction.

More than just an attraction, Temple of Leah is a modern testament of undying love of a husband to his wife comparable those the one of Shah Jahan when he commission the creation of Taj Mahal. Devoted husband like Mr. Adarna is hearth-warming how a true-blue Cebuano brand of love can do, will move mountain to immortalized love.

When a man loves a woman, he measures his happiness in his wife’s smile. How I wish Mrs. Adarna can see this astounding infrastructure dedicated to her, she would go over heels with him more.

  1. Wow. Havent been there and i am really curious of the place. I also admire Mr Adarna of his love and sincerity to his girl. And how lucky Mrs Adarna can be for having such a generous and loving man. While reading, i also imagined it like the Taj Mahal of the Philippines.

  3. Temple of Leah reminds me of the Ruins in Bacolod. It was also built because of a great love. Love truly moved things remarkably, even things that we can’t imagine it could exist, simply because of the love it became reality. Blog post like this, reminds us that Love is eventually the best thing one can experience and enjoy. I enjoy how you captured all your photos, and as always very well written article and interesting sight to behold.

  4. That is one lovely place. Truly, it’s like going to Greece and seeing the Parthenon of Temple of Athena (which I only have seen in photos). I guess, this is forever. The love that Mr. Teodoro has is so strong that it led him to create this majestic place for his late wife. I’m sure his wife is smiling wherever she maybe. Your photos show off the lovely sights and sure entices me to go there soon! 😀

  8. I’ve been to Greece and may I tell you, Temple of Leah looks as gorgeous ❤ This is very much similar to the Agora Temple in Athens. I hope the structures last long too 🙂
