Coated in white and blue stripes facade, Cafe Jasmine’s door is wide open to have your caffeine fixed anytime.
Breezing the cold monsoon wind in the metropolis, everyone wants to a way to keep warm during this time. To me the best way to keep it warm is having a warm cup of tea or coffee in hand.
Luckily, finding a coffee shop in the city is easy yet looking for a specialty coffee shop is rather a challenge.
The best thing in Cebu is word spreads like wild fire especially if it is really good. I believe Cebuano has this high standard to things before he could be convinced it is worthy every penny like Cafe Jasmine.
Caffeine fixed at Cafe Jasmin
Cebuanos fascinated to coffees too aside from its crispy lechon. Booming like mushrooms, cafes sprouted out all over the metropolis. Along the bustling street of Panagdait in Mabolo inside e-Zone Center, there is one specialty coffee named Cafe Jasmin.
This humble cafe is a two-story cafe. I tag along with fellow Cebu Bloggers Society bloggers to check out this cafe. Gladly greeting us warmly is no other than the cheerful man of the house Mr. Ran Vitanova. Wide smiles from its barista, felt me at home instantly.
When they handed us the menu, they offering the classic coffee choices from Americano, Latte, Flat White and among others available in both hot and cold. They also have a good selection of blended beverages. It’s only that their beans are sourced from all the coffee producing countries in the world directly. Interestingly, they also educate its customer in knowing their coffee. Get your caffeine fix plus get educated its like hitting two birds with a stone, cool!
Apart from beverages Cafe Jasmin also serves delectable meals to pair your coffee. Sandwiches, chicken penne carbonara, chicken curry and baked lasagna are available too.My favorite among it is the triple chocolate brownie, it much chewy, decant and sweet ( well, I’m a sweet-tooth, my weakness.) If you are more of a tea lover, find your cup of tea in their house tea options. All are priced fairly enough so budget wise it’s within the range
Cafe Jasmin impressions
It was a gloomy day when we visited this shop so I wanted to warm up my mood by having a good cup of coffee. Other bloggers came along with me Magaux of the http://www.visualtraveler.net , Ditas of http://www.indayadventurista.com , Glyth of www.glitterzescapades.blogspot.com and Lyssa of www.lyssamor.asia.
The ground floor has the reception area, bar, cashier, pastry display case and a few coffee tables around it. Then, there is a stairs leading you to the next floor which offers a palatial space with high ceiling. Also there are some long tables ideal for groups and some smaller ones for intimate study corners.
Knowledge-wise I think Jasmine should be blessed enough to have one the the metropolis best barista. And they are willing to share it during its coffee classes. Catch Cafe Jasmine in action on Mondays for Coffee Appreciation and Tuesdays for Hands-on or Practical weekly every 1 PM. If you wish to join, registration is peg at PHP 500 per person. Give them a call at 422-8022 or send me a SMS at 0915 824 6965.
In a nutshell Cafe Jasmin
Cafe Jasmin is the next big thing in the coffee industry in Cebu. I believe if they continue to propel their legacy, serving a good cup of coffee at a time and share their passion for coffee. This maybe a little off the beaten path for anyone coming from the city but I’m sure enough it worth it. Visit them soon!

First off, I really like your style in writing. It’s very legit. I feel like I’m writing a diary rather than the one your doing. Any tips about that?

wow! thank you for your kind words. I think writing a blog does not have any strict rules to follow. I think in blogging you can express your idea according to your own style. Just let your creativity flow. Also first rule in blogging, do not try to copy others or compare yourself with others, just be the way you are.
