Here is our sumptuous Captain A boodle fight experience
” Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.”
It was a special day for my Japanese friend , being a first time to celebrate his natal day overseas, my friends and I plan for a unique, Filipino way of celebrating this special day. So, boodle fight sprung in an instant making a little extra special we are having it in Cebu’s home of boodle, Captain A!
We had the birthday boodle for his big day. A mountain of rice greeted our table with a plethora of mouth-watering viands paint strikingly all over the mountainous rice. There are lumpia, calamares, tuna kebab, pork bbq, chicken, chopsuey , grilled squid , mix seafood soup and what is a Pinoy birthday celebration without pancit. I can’t paint my Japanese friend reaction when our order landed in our table, it was a priceless reaction. To make it a little special, the crew assembled and sang a birthday song to our surprise it was that loud and fun.
According to the birthday boy, his favorite among the viands was the sea foods everything while the pork bbq taste good too he adds. For me, everything was sumptuous, my only fear was that we may not be able to finish it up. Gladly we are able to clean up our table, that was one hungry fight! Our birthday boy confess, that it is the first time in his life to be that hungry and devouring in a banquet.
