Aguinid chasing waterfalls tips by #truebluecebuano

“You can be childlike without being childish. A child always wants to have fun. Ask yourself, ‘Am I having fun?”  ~ Christopher Meloni

Fun, exhaust and euphoria is filling the air. I am still catching my breath and trying to confine myself after that one epic waterfalls climbing slash swimming slash pool diving and all, thank God!

Anyway, my post will now focus on the fast facts one must know before heading to Aguinid falls. So get ready your pen and pad  to jot down these information.( too traditional)

Ways in going to Samboan

By bus,  if you are from the city proper of Cebu, make your way to the South Bus Terminal and look for the bus either ordinary bus (non aircon and in different colors) or with Ceres bus ( noticeable in yellow and black combination) with a sign board :   Bato-Barili.  Brace yourself for a 3 to 4 hours of joyride towards the southern side of the island.  Ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Barangay Aguinid near Samboan proper.

TIP: Last trip back to Cebu City is 7PM from Samboan to city proper. I  take the 5PM trip .

Perfect time to travel to Aguinid

As the old saying goes, ” The early bird catches more worms.” I am no fancy worms but I avoid traffic. So, I always travel early in the morning to avoid the weekend rush. The first trip going to Samboan would be as early as 4:30 AM but be there ahead of time. As many passengers are already flock there. There is an hourly trip going to Samboan via  Barili route.

TIP:  I can recommend taking the 6AM trip though for you to visit other  destination in the town of  Samboan.
