“I don’t know how people live without coffee, I really don’t.” ~ Martha Quinn
Several coffee shops are opening like mushrooms around Cebu metropolis. Some coffee shops come and go as well. There are some international brands coming in and local brands spurting out.
But among the local brand that is testing the water perhaps it’s safe to safe , Bo’s coffee has been one of the successful local brand in Cebu’s coffee scene and the country.
Cebu, a home to the country’s premier coffee shop
It’s more than a decade and a half since the CEO and Founder of Bo’s Coffee, Steve Benitez ,who is a true-blue Cebuano, opened its first shop in the queen city of the south , Cebu. And now it has spread across the archipelago like wildfire.Their successful coffee journey story goes down to the small branch in Ayala Center Cebu.
Bo’s Coffee wants to feature high quality products that are proudly homegrown locals. The shop is using Philippine Coffee Origins Arabica Beans in their coffees to help out local coffee farmers and contribute to the Philippine coffee industry.
Be caffeinated by Cebuano’s kind of coffee
Affordable, cozy and top-notch. These are some of the words that can describe this Cebuano brand of coffee.
Bo’s coffee has been a favourite hang out place for student studying out and some yuppies to chill with friends or for some people who just want to enjoy good coffee and wants to take a break from their busy and hectic schedules.
Coffee lovers will definitely love the best duo of quality product and services and warm hospitality of their staff.
Must-try coffee and sweets in Bo’s coffee
Among the wide array of coffee varieties of flavors and kind. I have come up with my favourite that I think is worth labeling as “must-try” . Note: This is based on my opinion and preference only.
I can recommend trying :
- Brewed coffee , it’s a Philippine arabica coffee coming from the best coffee site in the country.
- Coffee jelly, just the right level of sweetness and bitterness (my girlfriend’s favorite)
- Chocolate Chips Froccino Primo is among their recommended blended drink
- Almond Torte is a delightful pastry you must try if available
